Hey guys! This is my first style post for the year and I am excited to share more in the coming days. Though the floral trend is nothing new, I just want to help you how to style the floral shirt. I am actually happy to see more men wearing floral shirts. Today, I don’t just see them by the beach but I see them everywhere in the city.

Yet sometimes, it makes me cringe when I see some wearing floral the wrong way. Okay, don’t get me wrong. I also believe that the only rule in fashion is to break the rules. But a guide on how to look more put together and stylish won’t hurt.

First is how do you choose a floral print? If you are new to wearing florals, keep it to a minimum. Whether it be the print or the colors. You don’t want to be looking like a tourist out by the beach. Second is wear it with a black pair of trousers or any solid colors that would not take away the attention from your shirt. Remember, it’s about the top you are wearing. You may also wear it with a white undershirt while leaving 2-3 buttons open. This is a styling secret if you want to wear bolder prints in colorful tones. Wearing a white t-shirt underneath will balance the loudness of your shirt. I understand that we are still in the first month of the year. But if you want to feel summery and chill, you can wear your button up florals with jeans and shorts. Just always remember the second tip I told you about.
Lastly, wear it with confidence. The greatest outfit you can wear is actually confidence. I hope that I am able to help you go out of your comfort zone by wearing something that you have always wanted to but don’t know how. As a fashion blogger, it is my goal to help you come out of your shell. There is nothing wrong with wearing the basics. But it won’t hurt you to experiment with different styles until you find your own.
