Five months ago, I booked a flight to travel in November to a different country because I got my heart broken. My heart has become so beaten that I almost forgot how to live again. (melodramatic) Hahaha I just really wanted to get away and find peace. Then destiny had her own plans. I found you in Singapore.
The moment I laid my eyes on you, I just couldn’t contain myself but to feel giddy. It was like seeing your crush looking at you in the school cafeteria. I felt those butterflies in my stomach. It was a feeling that I almost forgot existed. I have become so numb that I conceded that I’ll never find love again. But you sure did something different and showed me that I am capable of loving again. You were, and more than what I expected. You were simple yet colorful. You were silent but had many things to tell. You were a masterpiece waiting to be seen and told. You did not judge me and you accepted me without reservations. I was, am and will always be in love with you.
There I was, standing in this narrow street in Singapore, like everything was on pause. And I told myself, “This does not happen to everyone, just be thankful and be content. Love is not something you find - it happens to those who least expect it. After all, the greatest love of all is being able to LOVE YOURSELF FIRST!” Yes, I fell in love in and with HAJI LANE. It was a perfect setting for the perfect love story. I admit, I wanted to share this moment with you. But you were in a different country with a different person and with a different reason to smile. I may not have a love story to tell right now, but at that moment, I felt blessed. And feeling blessed is more than feeling loved.
