The interiors are posh and artsy at the same time which make every nook and cranny worthy of that Instagram post. As a fashion blogger, I regret not bringing an extra outfit to get more content out of this very lovely place. (wink!) But I am definitely going back for sure and this time I will come prepared with more OOTDs.

I have been a fan of DIY home projects and design programs on TV that showcase eco-friendly activities in bringing new lives to old and mostly abandoned materials since I was in college. In fact, I have done a lot of these projects myself. So, when I knew that The Rosario Boutique Hotel is using repurposed flooring, wall fixtures and chandeliers from their ancestral house in Lahug, Cebu, I was totally engrossed. I believe this is just one of the reasons why the hotel has so much character and personality.

       Most hotels in Cebu take pride in their in-house restaurants and The Rosario Boutique Hotel not only takes pride in their food selections but they show passion and family tradition in every food that comes out from the kitchen. Recipes from great grandparents passed on to new generations of talented chefs from the Cañete family with a modern take on Oriental and Western flavors will delight your tastebuds. Cañete Cafe also serves all day breakfast with coffee and cakes. I highly recommend the TAPA. It's so good and flavourful. I am still thinking about it right now. HAHAHA

#FORTHEMUSICANDBOOZE

               After having dinner in Cañete Cafe, you can just hop on the elevator going to the 5th floor and enjoy the rest of the day in FARO with a stunning sea view and a captivating mountain view of the Cebu landscape. I am always down with live acoustic music and cold drinks. So, this part of the hotel is perfect for me.

This spot is also my favorite in FARO. I can read a book while acoustic music is playing on the background. Pwede mag drama diri na part! HAHAHA 
TRIVIA : "Faro" is the Spanish word for "lighthouse", after Lilo-an's Parola Ng Bagacay Point in Catarman where the restaurant was first located.

               I have always believed that family is home. I have mentioned that most of the architectural pieces found in The Rosario Boutique Hotel were repurposed from the Cañete's ancestral home. The love for family and traditions are not just evident in the design of the hotel. But the hotel's 6th floor is where you can find the Library-Museum of the late Professor Reuben Ramas Cañete where his collections of books, old CDs, and family antiques are displayed for hotel guests to see.

My sister is looking like a little girl inside the candy store. I think this has to be her favorite part of the hotel.
