You may have noticed that most fashion or style bloggers always wear the same pair of shoes in their OOTD looks especially for menswear. Unlike women, men have lesser choices when it comes to different styles of shoes. That is why it is essential that men should look at their shoes the way women do.
The male fashionista knows how to work a pair of brown leather shoes. I got mine during Rustan’s end of season sale in Ayala Center Cebu. Most men I know invest on a good pair of shoes more than t-shirts and accessories. Men would spend more on expensive but quality footwear. Good thing for me, I was able to get this pair on sale. Original price was P4,350 but I only bought it P1,740. Now you do the math. :)
Now this is fun! Women these days prefer men who has a sense of style. Call it crazy but wearing a great pair of stylish shoes on a date can actually get you the girl. I can still remember my mother's story about dating and men. She would always say to look at his shoes first! Hahaha I actually have friends who look at their date’s shoes and base their impressions on them. Or maybe they were just actually looking at the shoe size. As they say, a man’s shoe size says a lot about him. :)
But I definitely disagree. It shouldn’t be the size, but the performance......of the shoes. Right? Hahaha Kidding aside, a man who puts a little effort in choosing his shoes shows that he actually cares about his appearance. And that could be a turn on for women and pa women. Hahaha But I am not saying that you ditch a guy because you don't like his shoes.
Anyway, let’s talk about this OOTD post. A new coffee shop opened along Salinas Drive, just across University of Southern Philippines Foundation - Lahug. I really wanted to check this place out but was feeling a little lazy to dress up because of the cold weather that day. So I just chose a white pullover sweater, a pair of skinny jeans and my Xti TERRITORY brown leather shoes. Just before going out, I grabbed a hat and found it perfect for my outfit. Don’t I look like a young fashionisto drinking coffee in a quaint cafe in London or Paris? Hahaha I’m probably dreaming again. I need another espresso shot! Special shoutout to Gold Bean Coffee for the hospitality and the complimentary food at 1:30 AM.
