UNIQLO SUMMER OOTD CONTEST 2019

I was browsing through Instagram when I saw a post by Uniqlo about their Summer OOTD Contest. Then, I remembered my favorite summer go-to top from Uniqlo, a white linen polo.

I have always believed that a white linen polo is a summer staple for both men and women. You can go casual or dressy if you want. The most common is wearing it with chinos and Bermuda shorts. But I wanted to go extra for this look and decided to pair it with a white high-waisted trousers. In case you haven’t noticed yet, I have been obsessed with high-rise pants since last year. In fact, here’s a post I wrote about it.

This was the photo I submitted for the Uniqlo Summer OOTD Contest. And yes, out of hundreds of entries all over the Philippines, I was one of the lucky few who won gift certificates from Uniqlo. The GCs were supposed to be redeemed in Manila but since I am based in Cebu, I asked them if it was possible to get the GCs here in Cebu. Fortunately, they responded positively. So, I collected the GCs in Uniqlo Ayala Center Cebu and bought a complete look which I will also share to you soon in another blogpost. 

I also felt giddy when Uniqlo USA messaged me to use this photo in their online  platforms. Guys, ALMOSTaBLOGGER was featured in Malaysia before but in the United States of America? This might be the first. (Wink!) Cheers to going global! HAHAHA
